This year we will be offering two summer schools at MA level.
Perspectives on Religious Diversity led by Revd Dr Graham Adams and Revd Dr John Parry, which will explore and analyse the understandings of religious diversity offered from different perspectives and traditions. In addition to a variety of Christian understandings, Sikh and Muslim perspectives will be explored.
The Bible in Post Modern Context led by Asst Professor Mark Brummitt. A course exploring the implications of 'postmodernism' in interpreting the Bible. Investigating and critically reflecting on contemporary issues such as the cultural reception of the Bible and biblical authority. In-depth engagement with theories and methods at the cutting edge of studies in biblical text, using some of the major recent works and informed by developments in postmodern literary criticism.
